AH Challenge: Axis-Allied Swap

Your challenge, should you accept it, is to swap the factions of the Second World War.

To put it a little bit better, Germany, Italy and Japan become something close to OTL Allies. They are, on paper, the bastions of democracy and liberty against fascism. However, one of their member is barely any better than the enemy, the others having decided that one brutal dictator is better than several. Eventually victory is achieved, although discussions over the post war world become increasingly tense as time goes by.

Russia, Britain and the USA, in turn, resemble the Axis Powers. They are a collection of dictatorial regimes that seem to share much in common, such as using brutal methods to suppress their people and high levels of militarism, but in actual fact rarely see eye to eye and general do not cooperate. This results in their ultimate downfall.

The other nations of each alliance, such as France, Poland, Hungary etc, are free to side with either side. France can side with Britain or Germany, for example.

The only limit to the POD is that it has to be after the end of WW1, so no CP victory scenarios. The rest is up to you.

What can you come up with?

Well, you can probably keep the Soviets where they are...
I've always been interested at the possibilities of what would happen if the KKK had never had a membership crash in the mid-20's, but instead grew.
IDK evil Britain. Maybe Churchill joins the Fascist party, then allies with KKK dominated US. But then, would they even align themselves with the Russians?
Japan, like the Soviets, could probably more-or-less stay where they are.
Germany and Italy are harder though. I did read a TL on this site where the Weimar Republic survives and strengthens, maybe you could use that premise.
The problem is, it's hard for me to see the "good guys" in this scenario actually winning. China's pissed off at Japan, so they'd almost certainly align with the "bad guys". You'd have better chances if France AND Poland align with the "good guys". Maybe some Mexicans fighting the US on the southern border would delay them long enough for the "good guys" to take Britain and Russia out of the picure, although it's a stretch.

well, war ends with pretty the same way, since was the relative sterngth of the players invoved and not the ideology they professed that mattered....

the POD would be a different esit of russian civil war, with a fascist Withe Russia taking the place of USSR, italy stays the same wile Weimar Republic consolidates.
Then hit the US with a strongher depression and no solution giving the rise to a supremacist regime, or a mob driven or even a communist one and UK goeds the way Japan did...

this is difficult to figure...

The USSR was a hotbed of Internationalist Red Jewry and was full of Mongols and Georgians, to boot.

If you leave the USSR where it is, you cannot get a Fascist Britain to ally with it formally (although trade and military exchange as with OTL Germany is very likely), neither a KKK-ist America. They might stand to gain from it but they have little ideological touching points.
