AH Challenge: Alternative WW1 alliances with POD not before 1879

The challenge is to have a world war starting sometime after 1878 with the following alliances: On one side Austria-Hungary, Britain, France, the Ottoman Empire, Romania. On the other side Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Italy, Russia, Serbia.

How might these alliances have come about? In a world war which side would have the advantage and be more likely to win?

Actually, if the Fashoda incident escalated, WWI would have England on one side and France on the other. Impossible to have Germany vs. A-H as Germany needed A-H to balance the influence of Russia

Surely it is not impossible. There had been a history of Austrian-Prussian rivalry dating back at least to the the War of the Austrian Succession (1740-1748). In that war, the Seven Years War (1759-1763) and the War of the Bavarian Succession (1778-1779), Austria and Prussia were on opposing sides.

Presumably Emperor Franz Joseph I entered into the Triple Alliance with Germany and Italy in 1882 because it was in the interest of A-H. He could have decided not to do so to preserve A-H's independence from Germany or for any other reason. But is a German-Russian alliance in the late 19th century and early 20th century too unlikely to be a feasible proposition in AH?
