3000BCE: Some guy does something.
~
1969CE: The Skoedulkir Legislature, based out of the purpose built city of Tidzirinon on the Borrofot subcontinent, writes the constitution for a new global state. Mildro Iirkun, the secretary general of the League of Independent States, signs the constitution and assumes the provisional role of President of the League of Earth.

(Serious point: a POD of 3000BCE makes everything too easy. Literally anything could happen in 5000 years.)

Howabout this:
OTL 3000BCE---1942 CE

Hitler goes through with Code Blue, the proposed invasion plan for the USSR that goes south, through the Ukraine and Stalingrad. The rapid success of this operation means the by late 1942, Stalingrad has fallen and the USSR is cut off from oil and food. However, Stalin fights on, with still numerous resources from Siberia, and aid from Britian and the USA. Fronts are still opened in Italy and Greece by the allies, but they lack the forces to land at Normandy,

The Pacific front goes generally OTL, ending with a US use of the atomic bomb. The USA then threatens to use the atomic bomb on Germany. Hitler refuses to surrender. By this time, bombings have already hurt Germany, with the majority of the Luftwaffe stretched to the breaking point in the stalemate the is the Eastern Front, with the USSR holding on due to allied aid.

In early 1946, the United States destroys Berlin with an atomic bomb. Hitler is killed. Many German generals, seeing the writing on the wall, surrender to the allies.

The Post-War world is essentially Pax-Americana. The USA holds Europe in monetary control, and pushes free trade and de-colonization. After much agreements, the European powers decolonized slowly, as per an agreement with the USA. The USSR is a rump of it's former self, and the axis is defeated. The USSR is defeated to such an extent, that there is no Cold War. The UN is allowed to function moderatly well, and with free trade, the world slowly unites under UN jurisdiction. While the UN is not a main federal body, it is much more powerful than OTL.

I'm sure I overlooked something obvious, though.

China, India...

Hmm, I'm seeing something like this.

3000 BC: Babylonian Civilization develops Iron Working and the "First Golden Age begins"

2900 BC: Crop Rotation leads to greatly increased food production.

2800 BC: Universities and Colleges begin to appear. The Emperor signs a contract granting rights on a Hammurabian model, and places them in each of his cities. Unwittingly, this is a step towards constitutional law.

2700 BC: Investment in Education intensifies as water wheels are developed on the Tigris river. The decreasing need for labor begins to accelerate Babylon's Industrialization and Education.

2500 BC: Babylon's armies, which have already pushed into Israel, Persia and Armenia, are greatly augmented when firearms are issued to their ranks. With a major road system behind them and primitive rail links aside them, Babylon brings technology and transit no other civilization has ever had before.

2300 BC: Babylon successfully tests a nuclear Bomb. All of Europe, except for Scandinavia and Britain are now occupied by Babylon--which spreads its chosen faith-Zoroastrianism-over the people living there. Only Shang China has been able to at all resist this onslaught.

2100 BC: Babylon World Domination.

Instead of Charlemane dividing his empire up between his three sons, he picks one of them to succeed him. The other two he sends east and west to found their own kingdoms. A couple of generations later, one of these kingdoms marries off an greatgranddaughter of Charlemane to the new Emperor, (a greatgrandson of Charlemane) and the two states merge. A generation later, the other kingdom merges with the Carolinian Empire via the same method. After several centuries, the Empire controls most of Europe. In the 1500s the Empire establishes colonies in the Americas and North Africa. By 1660 the last independent states in Europe have fallen to the Empire. Between 1688 and 1809, the Empire fights several wars with Persia over Eygpt and the south coast of the Black Sea. During this period, several colonies nearly succeed in rebeling; although it takes several years, the rebellions are crushed. After the conquest of Persia, the Empire changes its name to the 'European Empire'. In 1850 through 1870, the Empire conqured India. For the next 30 years, the Empire goes through a period of consolidation and growth. They now control most of Asia, all of the Americas, Australia, Africa, and many Indian and Pacific islands. In 1877 it changes its name to the 'Empire of Earth'. In 1901 the attack China, the only major independent power left. The war lasts over ten years, ending with the defeat of the Imperial Chinese Army in front of the west gate of Peking. After another period of growth and consolidation follows. In 1930, the only daughter of the Japanese Imperial family marries the heir to the European Empire. In 1940 Herohito abdicates (some say under duress), and the two states merge. In 1965 the King of Siam, the Chairman of the League of Indochina Nations, and the Prime Minister of New Zeeland all signed the Treaty of Auckland, formally making them subordenant states of the Empire. On December 31, 1969, the empire officially adopted the name 'Empire of Man".
