You can only have utopia when everyone is happy and content, and where everyone really functions for the betterment of everyone, and where everyone gains- these are impossible to achieve. For example, "Land of Milk and Honey" showcases a Russia where oligarchs are still in power. Power, power, power- although they made steps to improve Russian Society, it is implied there that those oligarchs would still keep some things in place so that they would still be in power. That is not good for many normal citizens.
There are good benefits for some, but in the process some people also go down. That's why utopias are impossible to achieve.
Here in the Philippines, even if the Administration (or part of it) is doing everything they could to improve the Philippine economy, rallies and social malcontent are still a norm.
I did say that my Dices and Rivers TL is not utopian, but in most- ok maybe some (as I have said there would still be people going down). So no TL can be utopian.
That's an excerpt from Mr. Tony's A Song Was Heard in China. Everyone will just ask for more.
That's not good for those directors, producers and actors who have passion for it.
It all boils down to this: it is hard to satisfy people. You can never, in your lifetime, be content with such material and physical things.
