Afghanistan Enters World War I on the Side of the Central Powers?

It appears that there was a serious attempt to get Afghanistan to enter World War I on the side of the Central Powers:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niedermayer–Hentig_Expedition

Based on what it states in that article, Emir Habibullah supported Afghanistan neutrality while both of his successor as Emir of Aghanistan (Nasrullah and Amanullah) supported having Afghanistan enter World War I on the side of the Central Powers.

How, what if Emir Habibullah would have been assassinated or died as a result of an accident several years earlier than he did in real life and Afghanistan's new Emir (Nasrullah, presumably) would have decided to enter World War I on the side of the Central Powers? How would this have impacted World War I and what would have happened to/with Afghanistan after World War I in this scenario (after the Entente/Allies win World War I, which I don't see changing in this TL)?

Any thoughts on this?

Also, exactly which Russian territories, if any, would Afghanistan acquire in the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk in early 1918 in this TL? In addition to this, though, would the victorious Entente/Allies have allowed Afghanistan to keep some or all of these territories after the Entente presumably still win World War I in either late 1918 or early 1919 in this TL?

Any thoughts on this?

Afghanistan's entry into the war means that the British Indian Army will be largely tied down along the Northwest Frontier. This will place a big crunch on the manpower available to the British Empire in the Middle East (something like 700,000 Indians served in Mesopotamia during the war) and might allow Turkey to shift forces against the Russians in the Caucasus Theater or pose a greater threat to the Suez Canal. It might even allow Turkey to deploy more of its forces to European theaters (IOTL, only the reduction of Romania saw a significant Turkish contribution on the European mainland).

It might encourage sedition within India itself, but aside from the best efforts of the Germans and the actions of a few radical groups, this never amounted to much during the war and it might actually cause a rally-around-the-flag effect instead.

All of this certainly makes sense and appears to be very realistic! :) However, how exactly, if at all, would this have affected the outcome of World War I?

Also, exactly which territories, if any, would Afghanistan acquire in the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk in this TL? Also, exactly which territories, if any, would Afghanistan lose if the Entente/Allies will still win World War I in this TL?
