Alright guy, I need your help.
I've been setting up a TL with an alternate and early Great War that pits Great Britain vs France and Russia and then spirals, I've worked out the victory and the WWII equivalent and I have several pages written out but I'm coming across a big creative issue.
The "victorious" ideology of the early 20th century is going to end up being democratic socialism with a strong monarchist backbone, which sounds like an oxymoron but think Clement Atlee and early days Labour. They oppose and defeat a Religious-Reactionary Alliance in the Second Great War and I need a set up for "The Great Game" or TTLs Cold War.
One side will be this "Imperial Socialism" (I like the irony) but I'm undecided as to the other. Should it be:
A) Libertarianism/Objectivism - Extreme Libertarianism where government control is effectively powerless and corporations are very dominant
B) Anarchism - In a Syndicalist or Libertarian flavour, your call
C) An undefeated Fragment of the Reactionary alliance from the Second Great War
D) A Jurche-style dictatorship with devotion to a supreme leader - Not my favourite idea, seems a bit cheesy.
So, thoughts? Any other ideas are also welcome.
