ACW Early Union Victory

What if the union wins earlier? Say McClellan doesnt get the slows and/or Pinkerton gives out accurate intel? What ever the POD, what happens next? A longer lasting slavery seems for sure, maybe a stronger KKK analog?
What do yall think?

Slavery would last longer than IOTL if the Union emerges victorious in early 1862. But we wouldn't see a stronger KKK, since that essentially came as a backlash against a harsh Reconstruction, which we would not see ITTL.

it was harsh if one considers giving former slaves civil rights is in itself oppressive to white Southerners
