Acronyms

Can there be a sticky with a list of Acronyms that are used on this froum. I have been reading threads and some of the acronyms that are used I can't tell what they mean.

OTL: Our timeline, history as we know it.
IOTL: In our timeline.
TTL/ATL: This/Alternate timeline (synonyms, or the definate and indefinate article).
ITTL: In this timeline.
ASB: Alien Space Bats. Imaginary creatures invoked to allow something completely implausible to happen. They have their own board. On the other boards, to call something ASB is a snub.
ISOT: Island in the Sea Of Time: referring to a book title. Time travel, and especially taking a land area forward or backwards in time.

Yeah, that's what you really need to know.

Also:
DBWI: Double Blind What If (The thread this tag is placed over is taking place from an ATL, where the What If asked is actually OTL...)
RP Thread: Similar to above, except instead of strictly having a WI related to OTL, it just takes place in an alternate TL at all.

I wish this thread had been done a few weeks ago, I had to try to figure it out myself. The only ones I haven't managed to decipher are OOC and IC. They're used in DBWIs, and I know what they generally mean. OOC means a comment from OTL, and IC means a comment from within the ATL. But what do the acronyms actually stand for?

This thread was done several weeks ago, and then several weeks before that too, and several weeks before that too...

But yeah, I agree, it does need stickying.
