ACH: Tartar dominated Hungary

could medieval hungary become dominated by Tartar people? could the take advantege of the devestations of Hungary during the mongol invasions?

how could the Tartars and Mongols achieve a Hungary dominated by Tartars and have certain amount of cultural influeces from them??

Tatars did conquer the plains of Panonnia but had a very hard time in the mountainous terrain of upper Hungary, Croatia and Edely. I can see them remaining for a generation or two. The lands of St. Stephen would have been broken and Croatia would quite likely go its own separate way as it almost did in the decades following the Mongol invasion.

so youll end up with Tartars on the Pannonian plains and several smaller renments of the Hungarian kingdom?
