Sultan Mughat Syah of Achehnese would successfully conquer Melaka from the Portuguese in 1531 and successfully vassalized the Sultanates of Johor and Demak and after the death of Mughat Syah in mid-1530’s , Saludong’s towns of Faru and Makabebe and the muslims of Saludong[1] would be under Acehnese influence and ally with the Acehnese and the Acehnese would guarantee the retrieval of Tondo and Meykawayan from the Bruneians which would mean Aceh would be the one that would dictate the future of Saludong, since the Acehnese are treated as the Muslim successors of the Majapahit Empire and the pagans in Saludong[1] would not object as they hated the Bruneians from the south as well.

However, the Achehnese invasion of Melaka is not without consequences as the Portuguese would try its best to save the Kingdom of Sunda and turn it into a Christian kingdom and the Portuguese would also Christianize the eastern malay archipelago.

During this time, the Spanish had already claimed the Philippines and the Rajahnate of Butuan recognized Spanish as their overlords, which would mean the Spanish would be the people in control of that archipelago, and the other is that the Bruneians have intermarried with the Muslims of Saludong who transferred their alliance to the Acehnese, who are said to be the empire that would be the reincarnation of the old Majapahit Empire, however it is Muslim and would ally with the Turks or the Ottomans.
