Portuguese Malacca

Sultan Mughat Syah of Achehnese would successfully conquer Melaka from the Portuguese in 1531 and successfully vassalized the Sultanates of Johor and Demak and after the death of Mughat Syah in mid-1530’s , Saludong’s towns of Faru and Makabebe and the muslims of Saludong[1] would be under Acehnese influence and ally with the Acehnese and the Acehnese would guarantee the retrieval of Tondo and Meykawayan from the Bruneians which would mean Aceh would be the one that would dictate the future of Saludong, since the Acehnese are treated as the Muslim successors of the Majapahit Empire and the pagans in Saludong[1] would not object as they hated the Bruneians from the south as well.

However, the Achehnese invasion of Melaka is not without consequences as the Portuguese would try its best to save the Kingdom of Sunda and turn it into a Christian kingdom and the Portuguese would also Christianize the eastern malay archipelago.

During this time, the Spanish had already claimed the Philippines and the Rajahnate of Butuan recognized Spanish as their overlords, which would mean the Spanish would be the people in control of that archipelago, and the other is that the Bruneians have intermarried with the Muslims of Saludong who transferred their alliance to the Acehnese, who are said to be the empire that would be the reincarnation of the old Majapahit Empire, however it is Muslim and would ally with the Turks or the Ottomans.

Mary I

Catherine of Medici would give birth to two girls named Madeleine b. 1535 and Charlotte 1544 which would mean she would be fertile, however the marriage would be dissolved before Henry II of France became king in 1545 as Catherine of Medici appeared to produce only girls and remarried to the Savoyard Emmanuel Philibert in 1547, wherein she gave birth to a son named Charles in 1550 and died a year after which means it was Henry II of France who was at fault of the two, for him not having a son, Henry II would remarry to Maria of Portugal who was in mid-20’s at that time and gave birth to the needed heirs, Charles b. 1551 d. 1560 and Henry b. 1560 d. 1560, however, none would survive in their adulthood and at the death of Henry II in 1562, the throne passed to Anthony I of France who married Madeleine of France during Henry II’s reign.

On 1537, Jane Seymour would give birth to a son who dies and the mother would die as well, forcing Henry VIII to a reconciliation with the Catholic church and marry somebody else, Anne and Amalia of Cleves were sought and a marriage between the Princess of Denmark, Christina was also considered but it would not happen due to how Henry VIII treated his first wife.

After the long try on finding a second bride, on 1542 Henry would fail to find the new wife who would bear a son and die leaving the throne to the 25 year old Mary of England who was installed by the parliament.

Mary Tudor would sign a marriage contract with Philip, the Prince of Asturias who was 14 years old at 1542, It was said that it was a difficult choice for Mary to find a suitable husband since her father already burned a lot of bridges with the Catholic Church itself and found herself in the mission to restore the Catholic faith in England.

Her choice of Man would meet opposition in the Kingdom of England but she was happy in her choice of marriage since it will give her the alliance she wanted.

Mary Tudor would give birth to two sons, Infante Carlos b. 1543 and Infante Felipe b. 1545 and a daughter named Catalina b. 1550

However, she would choose to leave the rule of England to her ministers and nobles and she would stay in spain till 1550 after which she would return and marry Elizabeth Tudor to Emmanuel Filibert as his second wife after Catherine of Medici in 1553 and have the protestants tied to the sticks and burn.

On 1553, Mary and her ministers would sign a marriage treaty between Mary Queen of Scots, (the daughter of Margaret of France and James V) and Infante Felipe where in the two would rule England and Scotland co-monarchs which would start, she would die in 1555 and succeeded by her son Felipe with a long regency till 1560.

Her husband would remarry to Jeanne II of Navarre after her death.
