A WWII Movie Based on THE NEW DEALERS' WAR

AKA Atlas Shrugged? :D

I'm not sure how they managed to make three movies considering I don't think any of them have made significant amounts of money or been well-reviewed.

It turns out crazy fanatics will pour money down a hole in the name of their belief system.

Even if it that is in fact the sort of behavior their belief system claims to frown on.

Objectivism. Unofficial motto--"We're not going to bother making sense, people."

About the hypothetical movie (be it some anti-hagiographic "hit piece" on FDR or something more balanced, perhaps with Wallace and Truman as dueling angels on FDR's shoulders), I could imagine it being fairly low-budget.

It could be a "last days of FDR" chamber drama, perhaps centered around relations with Stalin and the decision to the use the A-Bomb, with Italy's volte face and the sanctions against Japan only referenced.

(There's a quote from Herbert Hoover in which he blamed FDR's policies for provoking Japan to war, in a vein similar to the "9/11 is the result of America's foreign policy" argument today.)

If you wanted to spend money on fight scenes, perhaps some depictions of U.S. firebombing of Japan and/or the Soviets' behavior in Poland would make it more exciting.
