A World without Adolf Hitler:
- National Socialism disappears into obscurity, and Fascism is mainly a "South European phenomenom".
- Without a Molotov-Ribbentrop-Pact, the Soviet Union goes on a rampage in Eastern Europe on its own, conquering Poland, Finland, Czechoslovakia and Romania.
- With no NSDAP to destroy German democracy, the Communists have much more power and eventually rise to power in 1933. And of course, Commi Germany is getting more closer to the USSR.
- The Western Allies start to support the Fascist countries (Italy, Spain, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Austria), and even helps such movements in other countries (Bulgaria and Greece), in order to prevent a rise of Communism in these countries.
- World War II breaks out between the Communists and the Democratic-Fascists in the early 1940's. European becomes of course a pretty messed up place.
- Because the USSR is more interventionist ITTL, the Chinese Communists are supported much more by the Soviets. Japan is aware of this, and is supporting Chiang Kai-Shek, thus aiding the Western Allies in World War II by declaring war upon USSR.
- The USA is much more anti-communist ITTL, and Franklin D. Roosevelt looses his election in 1940 against Wendell Wilkie. The Red Scare (IOTL in the 50's) starts much earlier ITTL and people like Henry Wallace end up pretty badly.
- And the USA is isolationist of course.
- While the Asian Allies advance very well into Siberia, the war in Europe has reached a stalemate. At the Donau, both sides are engaged in a "Sitzkrieg". But the loss of more and more land in Siberia starts to become a pain in the ass of the Soviets. Sooner or later, the USSR pulls troops away from the European theatre, to defend the Ural.
- In 1945, the Europeans and the Soviets sign an armistice. All pre-war borders are restored, while the Soviets keep the Baltic states. The countries west of the armistice line become democracies again.
- In 1946, the USSR and Japan sign a peace, which gives the Japs all land east of the Ural.
- After the end of World War II, Eurasia lays in ruins. The European Allies, the Asian Allies and the USSR have to rebuild their destroyed countries, which takes much money. However, the USA has overcome the Great Depression, and American Companies invest heavily in Europe and Asia.
- However, Cold War breaks out between the European Treaty Organisation (ETO) and the Asian Treaty Organisation (ATO). The first "proxy war" is the civil war between India (ATO-backed) and Pakistan (ETO-backed).
- Since Pakistan is supported by the ETO, the islamic world is much more symphatetic towards the ETO. Especially since Palestine is established instead of Isreal. However...
- ...since there are more Jews ITTL (No Holocaust), and under them radical zionists, Zionist Terrorism is widespread around the world. They are angered, that they weren't given a home state in the Middle East. The ATO support those terrorist groups.
- Since international communism is practically dead, Red Scare has died down in the USA. But after Zionist Terrorism reaches the USA, antisemitism spreads in the USA and Western Europe.
- The ETO-states are split between the democratic (UK, France, Germany etc.) and authoritarian states (Italy, Spain, Austria etc.) but they get along, since they are more or less dependent on each other. However, the Democratic states slowly moderate their authoritarian allies
These are the 30's-50's, because the rest of the century would take too much time
