A World Without Rome

I'm doing a TL on a world without Rome but I am a bit loose on what I want to do so I'd like some advice please on a world without Rome. There are nearly limitless possibilities!!!!

The possibilities is what makes this so hard. Due to the Romans getting rid of historical evidence about a lot of their enemies, we just don't know enough. I had a TL where Carthage defeated Rome, but I just had no idea how to continue it much longer. No Rome throws things so out of whack it's pretty much impossible to write about it.

There are a lot of things resulting from a disappearance of Rome. When you want it to happen is up to you.
Arverni supremacy in Gaul, Seleucid domination of Ptolomaic Egypt without the Roman diplomats to turn them back, etc.
Egypt was largely propped up by Rome towards the end to ensure the grain shipments that were direly needed by Greece and Italy did not fall into enemy hands. Many people fail to take that facts like food shortages into account and this minor fact become largely ignored.

The Seleucids would probably cling on to dominance without Rome to butt heads with them over Greece and then Anatolia. It was after they lost Asia Minor that caused their manpower shortage that led to Parthians completely crushing their military power.

Dacians would continue to plague the Balkans and coalesce into a strong state, as would Gaul.
Romes intervention in Gaul stopped the Arverni taking over the entire place under their blasphemous (according to the druids) God King, the Verrix.

Carthage would dominate the Western Med, but there would be inter Senate struggles over the directions in which to expand like OTL.
The Barcids pushed for Iberian expansion while the Hannids (Hannos party) supported continued expansion into Africa. They became very bitter enemies.

Just some stuff to work with for you.

A few basic suggestions.

Celtic kingdoms in south Britain and Gaul. The Spanish Celts last much longer, much stronger.

Persia might stay Parthian longer, and expand more.

Even so, there's room for a strong Seleucid state to its west/northwest.

It would be interesting to see the Hellenic culture of South Italy develop. It might do some imperialistic expansion of its own.

Perhaps Carthage would be superseded by its own successful colonies.

The key question is whether other city/tribes/kings managed to unify Italy. having united Italy give Romans enormous manpower advantage. Carthage / Macedon / etc managed to give Rome defeats, but Roman manpower advantage eventually enable them to send another army until victory is achieved.
