A Victorious Axis

The last one perhaps, but people betray those that gave them aid all the time, like Germany did to the Soviet Union, which was one of its primary trading partners.

This is more than aid, the Russian regime is reliant on Germany for it's existence, the Germans will get concrete pledges of support and if the Whites betray them then the Germans will replace them with someone who will, namely the Bolsheviks.

Additionally, this Empire of Russia would still want to invade Japan, among other things.

It's going to have a hard time constructing an alliance with Britain in that case.

Okay, explain why Britain couldn't become Fascist from a revanchist reaction? Before you say because of democratic tradition, democracies can be quite vulnerable to such things. The US was fortunate to have FDR, otherwise...

Otherwise? We get President Long at worst, who is largely overrated in his apparent fascism.

Even without strong democratic tradition there are four words which will keep Britain from going fascist, First Past the Post.

Long? I wasn't talking about him. He was, if anything, actually a left wing demagogue, albeit a dictatorial one.

I'm talking about guys like Macarthur, or similar.

Again, a strong democratic tradition helps, but by no means makes your country invincible to said influences.

MacArthur wouldn't be popular enough ITTL.

Not invincible, no, but very much intact.

I have just finished reading the Big switch lates book it the war that came early by Harry T and it seems like good scenario of a Axis victory TL. If only the characters were more relevant to the plot.
