A Unified Brythonic State vs the Anglo Saxons

Funnily enough, my TL happens to be about King Arthur.

So in TTL, would Arthur be able to permanently repel the Anglo-Saxons with a unified Brythonic kingdom?

If so, do the Anglo-Saxons invade France? How would does Clovis respond to them?

On one hand, I suppose it's theoretically possible for the Anglo-Saxons to form their own country in Northwestern France (an English "Normandy"?), especially if their methods prove similar to those of OTL's Vikings.

On the other hand, this is during a time period where IIRC the Franks were relatively unified and militarily strong; forcing the issue may result in the Sea Wolves getting curb-stomped quite effectively (this seemed to be the case locally anyway, since the Domain of Soissons more or less would be where Normandy later appears; Soissons had it's butt handed to it by Clovis). There then leaves the possibility of the Anglo-Saxons immigrating there peacefully, and perhaps "taking over" the area by squatter's rights as opposed to overt conquest. How likely is that idea? I have no clue at all, but it sounds somewhat plausible to me.

Even though the Saxons were stopped and even pushed back after Badon Hill and there wasn't a Bretwalda for quite awhile, the Britons didn't seem like they were in a position to drive the Saxons back into the sea.

The Wiki seems to think that after Badon Hill, the Britons controlled a salient that kept the Saxons geographically divided. Assuming "Arthur" in TTL doesn't have a "Mordred," we might see a united sub-Roman Britain and two separate Saxon states.

Of course, even if the Britons stay united, between growing numbers of Saxon immigrants and the Yellow Plague, they might end up being pushed back anyway, just slower and less thoroughly.

Bigger Wales?

I think a unified Byrthonic state might prevent a lot of the Anglo-Saxon incursions altogether, as there are strong suggestions that many were initially invited in as mercenaries by the various petty kings, which a unified state would have no need of.
