A surviving Peter of Coimbra

This is my first thread on this forum, so I'm gonna try an idea I had for a while.

Peter, duke of Coimbra was the second son of John I of Portugal and Philippa of Lancaster. Is there any chance of butterflying his death in 1449? A older Alfonso V of Portugal? The duke of Braganza dying before Duarte I of Portugal?

What would the consequenses be of a surviving Peter?

In large traits, I don't see much difference. Afonso was just a short setback on Portugal's trajectory of centralization, so Peter's agenda came to happen anyway.

In details, there may be tiny things which can become huge, like questions of inheritance, marriage etc., but I'm not into that.

If there is no Braganza can Portugal focus on marine missions with Henry duke of Viseu? Does a older Alfonso wed someone else than Isabella of Coimbra?
