A Stresa v Soviet Cold War?

Had the Stresa Front held together, could there have ended up being a Stresa v Soviet Cold War following a defeat of Germany?

I don't think there'd be a war of Austria, but a war may break out over Czechoslovakia. Germany, Hungary, Poland, and the Slovak separatists would be at war with the Soviet Union, Britain, France, Italy, and Czechoslovakia here.

I could see the Soviets dominating Poland, Hungary, Romania, and the Baltics in this scenario and Czechoslovakia ending up as a Finlandized country.

Nah, it has to be Austria. If there's an Anschluss, it means Italy has abandoned Stresa. Anschluss can only happen with Italy in the German camp.

Well WWI and CW v WWII is two out of three or 66% win rate isn't it?

Sorry, but the WWII Tabletop site I used to visit regularely had this trope when it came to "different WWII scnarios" - the side with Itlay belongs to equals auto lose ;)

(BTW - all (alternate) scenarios we had - led to a CPs win if Italy fought too :D )

It was just automatism when I posted the above... ;)
