When Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938 the Western Allience of Poland, France and England began to prepare for war with Germany. On September 1st 1939 Hitler sent 60 divisions into Poland, officially starting WW2. Poland had 39 divisions to defend herself, which for sure wasn't enough, But the French and Brittish had a combined 110 divisions. What if the French attacked the 23 Nazi divisions left to defend the Sigfried Line and the Brittish landed the BEF in the Danzig region on the norther coast of Polish German border? I think they would have defeated the Nazis. But how would they have fared against the Soviets when they attacked on September 17th? I think the Polish, Brittish, French allience again would have been sucessful, with a large part of credit going to the RAF and Royal Navy which was vastly superior to their Soviet counterpart in 1939.
