A Russian Napoleon

From "Prince of Princes: Life of Potemkin" by Simon Seabag Montefiore:

"Across the Mediterranean, Potemkin's officers tried to recruit more men, particularly from Greece and Turkey:" ((to fight in the Russo-Turkish War of 1787-1792)) "for example, on the island of Corsica, it is said that a young man named himself for service to a Russian recruiter, General I.A. Zaborovsky. The Corsican demanded Russian rank equivalentto his position in the Garde Nationale Corse. He even wrote to his General Tamara about it. But his request was refused and he remained in France. The name of this abortive recruit to Potemkin's army was Napoleon Bonaparte."

What if he accepts the offer?

Why?

Russia already had a Napoleon-quality general in Suvorov, but that did not result in any permanent wank. The political leadership's goals are what matters.

Right I forgot well... Then their be no Napoleon conquests at best he can attain the rank of General if he's lucky, which means well have a surviving HRE :):) Woah and No French conquest of Europe meaning no Egyption campaign meaning no Mameluke revolt which means ottomans last much longer........

Maybe Napoleon going there somehow butterflies into a Russian revolution after the French one? This could be tied in Czar Paul I's assassination in OTL.
