Edward III's heir presumptive would be this guy, and the bigger question would be whether he dies in 1336 as OTL. Though his death can be easily butterflied away, so TTL's John II can have an interesting rule.

Now that the king is an 11 years old, would it mean that Mortimer's rule would be longer, or the death of Edward III in battle would damage his position even more and cause his deposition?

Well, Mortimer's biggest threat is now gone, and he can likely control John better than Edward.
