I felt like updating this TL for once so I made this
No map this time because I wouldn't wish the crazy task of making an FPTP map on anyone
Baptiste is most likely a one-nation Tory, yeah, and Mosley is probably a little to the left of OTL Ed Miliband. And the Liberals are just in general more successful ITTLCool. Is Baptiste a one-nation tory? What Labour faction is moseley from? How did the Liberals gain so many seats, and why did they loose so many? This is a fascinating election.
I think I might take this TL off of semi-hiatus, but updates may still be sporadic and have random timing
This TL deserves a DBWI (or TBWI, or QBWI?), so I decided to make it on my phone in a few minutes. I haven’t done it much justice, but it exists anyway so here you go!
I love it. It's canon now, so I'll threadmark it-snip-
Yeah, there was a cold war simply called the Cold War, between the US and the USSR as in OTL, although a lot of the smaller details are different. I haven't worked out the exact details but I do know that there were some differencesNice! I've really been enjoying it! Could you give us some info about 1900s geopolitical events? Was there a cold war equivalent?
Fun fact: I think I subconsciously incorporated some timeline from the Althistory wiki while making this soThis TL deserves a DBWI (or TBWI, or QBWI?), so I decided to make it on my phone in a few minutes. I haven’t done it much justice, but it exists anyway so here you go!

The Kaiser’s Smile is a 2019 bestselling American alternate history novel. Set in an alternate 1940 in a world where the central powers won WWI, the book follows Francis, an American reporter, travelling to Germany to interview the Kaiser. The book was critically acclaimed due to its story and characters, but criticised due to it being thought of as inaccurate.
Summary-
The book begins with a newsreel, where we are informed that the Kaiser’s decision not to continue using unrestricted submarine warfare leads to no US entry into the war. France drops out, and is taken over by a Valkist-like regime ruled by Adrien Joubert,(coding for Adam Dressler), a far-right nationalist and orleanist who believes in the ideology of Boulangisme, inspired by Georges Boulanger, while Germany invaded Belgium and declares it a puppet state in personal union with it, Poland is ruled by the Kaiser’s brother Henry, and later, Henry’s son Waldemar, the Baltic states are integrated into Germany, Austria-Hungary reforms and absorbs Serbia. King George V abdicates and the British Commonwealth, a republic, is declared before being taken over by Socialists. The USA is under President Quentin Roosevelt, an Nicholas II’s son Alexei rules Russia, while Lenin is in exile in the USA.
Characters-
Francis Ferdinand- A New York reporter, Ferdinand’s assignment is to interview the Kaiser on the possibility of an upcoming war between France and Germany.
Elena Goldberg- A Jewish-American singer and Francis’ girlfriend, she is an avid traveller and accompanied him on his journey
Rupert Brooke- Francis’ romantic and business rival, Brooke is a reporter and science fiction author, currently writing ‘Russkiymir’, an alternate history in which the Entente wins WWI and Tsarist Russia is the main world power.
Reception-
The book was received well by critics. Robert Myer, writing for ‘The New York Times’, said that the book ‘explores the possibilities of an alternate world’. However, Dr.Mitchell Brown, writing for ‘The Historian’, labelled it a ‘farcical and unrealistic tale of fiction’.
It's a Commonwealth realm lol, but there's a massive movement to form a republic that's likely to succeed in its goals by like 2025-ish
What is the german unification league party like? (And what is their leader wearing in that photo? Looks almost like some kind of band hoodie)Here's something I threw together last night: the 2019 Rhenish election. Since I only did the box for this rather than the whole page I might do wikiboxes for the parties as well

They want to reunify with Germany. Other than that they're largely right-wing populistWhat is the german unification league party like? (And what is their leader wearing in that photo? Looks almost like some kind of band hoodie)
I might do wikiboxes for the parties as well
The RVP (Rheinische Volkspartei) is conservative-liberal and civic nationalist, the Liberal Party (Liberale Partei) is centrist and social liberal, and the Civic Democratic Party (Demokratische Bürgerpartei) is more conservative and to the right of the RVP. If you're now wondering about the Rhenish Centre Party (Rheinische Zentrumspartei), they're more centre-right christian democratic than actual centristI like the election infobox, too! And
Yeah! Please do so!
What is the platform of the Civic Democratic Party and how are they different from Mittag's Liberals and Jost's RPP? What goals does the Rhenish Freedom Party have
