Please be conscious of libel laws on this one, my thread is could a President of The USA post Kennedy with a similar insatiable sexual appetite have remained uncovered as it were?
Umm... Slick Willy certainly enjoyed fooling around, I think that's fair. But he didn't have the insatiable drive that JFK did. Even if most of the rumours are true (which I tend to suspect they are), he had, what, about 1 girl/year? That is so far below JFK's score.Clinton has that sort of reputation. Whether it's deserved is a different matter.
A single President has virtually no chance to be elected. Is this President single or married? If single and doing a good job, many will not care if the President is a Playboy. Many will admire the strength to do the hardest job in the world and chase woman all day. How about a woman President who chases guys all the time, how does that fit?
Gary Hart was single, wasn't he? He had a pretty good chance, IIRC, until he dared reporters to find his squeeze.A single President has virtually no chance to be elected.

A widower president is more likely than a single president. What about a widower Presidential candidate? Or, to put the circumstance another way, let's imagine the following scenario. In the midst of a Presidential campaign, one of the candidates wives becomes gravely ill, and shortly thereafter dies. Would voters really hold the death of the candidate's wife against him? True, he might not win, because such a scenario, unless the candidate was totally callous, would probably mean the candidate isn't going to be out on the stump as much as he would be otherwise, but his defeat would not be the consequence of his new status as a widower.
