A New Coat of Arms Thread

Chapter 8. Cersei tries to get some sleep and posthumously bonds with her twin, Viserys meets his bride for the first time (and creeps on his sister), and we see what becomes of Aemon 7 years later, while seeing a bit of the Targaryen-Lannister wedding. From here on out our story will really start picking up!

Do keep in mind that these sequences are POV. So Aemon’s recollection of the Red Wedding is colored by his own feelings and emotions years after the fact.

And I threw this together real quick with some clipart:

Aemon Sand's sigil as the Lord of the Tower of Joy

This is uh, a little basic compared to some stuff in this thread, but here is something from my ASOIAF TL. TTL’s Jon Snow (Aemon Sand) is made Lord of the Tower of Joy (which was never pulled down) as part of a plot to ensure he isn’t a threat to King Viserys III. His coat of arms was one he made a kid (8-9) when he was still enamored by the tragic tale of his parentage, not realizing how negatively it is viewed in Dorne.

It is a grey tower (the Tower of Joy) beneath a winter rose (for his mother who was kept in the tower) on a black field.

Can someone please make me a coat of arms with 2 dragons intertwined together one red and the other black, can you also add a white dire wolf below the dragons and a orange sun above the dragons with three purple stars on the right and the left of the dragons on a grey field

I have to wonder just how the personal unions behind this went. Let’s see, in one corner you have the Scottish and English lions together, which is the OTL Great Britain quartering, so that checks out. Next to it you have the lions and fleur de lys of the English cost of arms. Maybe a bit less easy to explain. The Netherlands and Ireland together? Maybe William was made King of the Netherlands and Ireland, and his wife sovereign queen of England and Scotland. Hanover checks out. And... Hmmm. You know maybe they should just call themselves the Holy Roman Emperors and say this goat of arms is dynastic. Which branch of the Hohenzollerns are you having in charge? Prussian, Franconcian, or Swabian? Sounds like an interesting map could be made out of this.

The Netherlands became part of the United Kingdom due to the coronation of William II and III as King of the Netherlands along with the King of the United Kingdom, repealing the Salic Act and granting the Dutch throne to the Queen Anne

Hanover because King George III, Elector of Hanover, was crowned King of Britain and the Netherlands and would not give up his claim to France

Hohenzollern is the branch that ruled Prussia

(To whom Kaiser Wilhelm II belongs) Here Queen Victoria gave birth to sons as it happened, but each of them died under certain circumstances and only Princess Victoria (the German Empress) and Edward VII lived, and Edward's reign would be very short, as he died in 1902 (while his sons died in the nineteenth century due to influenza)

There will be only one person left qualified to be king of Britain, which is Kaiser Wilhelm II. Parliament will make a deal with Wilhelm, where he becomes king of the United Kingdom in exchange for respect for the constitution and Wilhelm agrees

Earlier unification of Germany and the absence of a Franco-Prussian war would make German-French relations much better, and with the British not relinquishing their claim to the French crown, the French would agree to union with the United Kingdom in 1940
