A New Beginning - Our 1992 Russian Federation

Ok, I have done revision of all GDP figures - as you can see the Union State lost almost 3T - in my opinion my former numbers mostly were pure ASB, therefore I believe that the revised ones are much more plausible given all TTL changes. Please share with me your thoughts of the revised GDP numbers.
I hate you 😉😉😉😉

It does mean much less military spending, a huge ton of extra debt to fund all those new investments etc. Do you have those numbers in a Google sheet or something? I can update mine and make sure the numbers match.

Unfortunately I dont, but if you want please do
I can revisit the budget when I'm back home, but what about debt? I have these numbers:

If you want to keep spending like that and remove trillions from the budget, we either do a shit tonne less (supporting industry, research and external regimes) or rack up massive debt.

So the christian refugee programme vote is concluded - votes in favor - 11, votes against 10. So what would you say for a compromise -beginning of a refugee progeamme under Nabiullina initially for persecuted Christians, then expanded on other groups? What you say. Also on which groups should be the programme be expanded?

Isn't Poland considered one of the countries with the worst LGBTQ rights record? I mean no offense I just remember hearing and reading that at some point.
Laws aren't the best but there is an actual movement in favor of the LGBT community and even among much of the right the stance had moderated from ,,stone them all" to a sort of quiet, closeted (pun intended) disaproval.

This is far more than Russia

Well at least their quiet in their bigotry.

I don't think more refugees program are needed after Christians program but later we can introduce something similar for Yazidis and Roma people.

That program sounds good. I would say the expanded groups should be anyone who experiences persecution like not just religious groups but groups like the Kurds who suffer in Iran and Turkey.

Depends. The Middle East if always going to have people wanting to leave and migrate but this always come with it's own problems. I guess the Druze and Kurds are people that would lack the massive connection to Middle Eastern terrorists and religious extremism so they are kinda safe.

There is also China which does have a lot of Christian's there. Apart from getting more people the Chinese would have an easier time assimilating and settling down since we already have a large Chinese population.

Finally there is the Copts which again will have little connection to the greater issues in the Middle East and would not have to worry as much of extremism from them.

Outside of that maybe we can do something with the Circassian and Tatars? Those people would likely want to return to their homelands and more importantly move to Russia which is a growing economic power. There is also a historical claim to those lands so it would be easier to pass laws allowing them to pass into Russia.

Oath of Office I meant. Stupid autocorrect.
probably, the same as OTL's.

"I swear in exercising the powers of the President of the Russian Federation to respect and protect the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, to respect and defend the Constitution of the Russian Federation, to protect the sovereignty and independence, security and integrity of the state, to faithfully serve the people."
