A New Spain and Different Spain

In 449 King Rechiar of the Suebi invades Tarraconensis. Though meant to be merely a passing raid, Rechiar manages to defeat most of the Roman defenses quite easily and succeeds in conquering most of the province. Emperor Valentinian III manages to get a Visigoth-Roman army together in Gaul and invades Tarraconensis, but making sure Aetius does not lead the force, promising the Visigoths land in return for their help. The Roman army easily marches through Tarraconensis and only a few skirmishes are fought, rumors even prevail amongst the troops that Rechiar has decided to live the province all together but once they reach Zaragosa, these rumors immediately prove false. For outside the city a ready Suebi army waited. The Roman-Visigoth army lead by the current Visigoth king, attacked the following day and met decisive defeat. For the Suebi utilizing a pincer movement managed to encircle the numerically superior army and crush it. The battle resulted in the loss of the Visigothic king and his 2 sons who came with him and the destruction of the army. It also paved the way for the Suebi conquest of the Spanish Mediterranean coastline a few months later. From then on Rechiar declared himself as Rechiar, Emperor of the Suebi and Hispania.

The Visigoths
After the loss of their King and his sons the Visigoth people fell into a civil war between various claimants to the throne. This allowed them to fall into Roman influence again and the Roman General Aetius even attacked the Visigoths after a marauding Visigoth army attaced the a Roman garrison in Gaul. Though it was just a small raid it strengthened the Roman position in Gaul and raised Aetius popularity in the Western Roman Empire

I want to know what everyone thinks and if this is plausible. I am going to get a map up as soon as possible.

The Roman Empire
On March 23rd 450 AD Valentinian was assassinated by unknown hands. His mother Galla Placidia tried to take the throne after his death but Aetius blocked her by placing his ten year old son, Gaudentius on the throne, with himself as regent. Galla Placidia was imprisoned and died a few months later. Of course there were many objections to this but Aetius power was to great and no one had the strength to truly oppose him. Gaudentius was betrothed to Placidia, the daughter of the former emperor. One of the first things Aetius did was to give the Franks large swathes of land in Gaul and thus acquiring their allegiance. Visigoths continue their civil war with the Visigoth general Ataulf, a distant relative of the Visigoth royalty, defeating most of his rivals and only one remains, the one under Roman protection, Thoris, said to be the illegitimate grandson of Alaric.

Huns
On some day of April, Attila, the great king of the Huns dies and leaves no chosen successor, and a war of succession ensues. The war breaks the mighty Hunnic Empire into pieces. Two Hun horders appear out of the chaos, the Occidihuns and the Orihuns. The Occidihuns go southwest towards the Eastern Roman Empire where they are given land in the Balkans, much like the Visigoths some years ago. While the Orihuns slowly move east and south through the Caucusus absorbing natives along the way and appear near Persia’s borders around 456.
