A More Successful Scottish Socialist Party and other related ideas?

How could you make the Scottish Socialist Party more successful? I get the sense, have the SNP and SLP crash and burn at the same time would help, or Tommy Sheridan not getting into a tiff with News of the World and all that.

Additionally I ponder, what would the impact be of groups like JMIP/Forward Wales or PBP interacting and collaborating more with the SSP? It did seem that there was some energy for interaction but collaboration seemed a bit too much, maybe a No RESPECT situation could lead to more collaboration or something.

Tommy Sheridan not having his mad shagging parties would help.

The big question is to how the SSP would do going into the post referendum Scotland with Sheridan not being seen as a "swinger". Could they (as a left wing AND pro independence party) have taken over unionist Labours place by taking the the left of the SNP but also hoovering up the labour pro Indy vote from the SNP that Sturgeon ripped away from labour in 2015. It's a question best left for someone with better alt politics TL writing skills than me .
