Is it possible for Greece to be more successful on their own in their bid for independence from the Ottoman Empire as equated with more land. I know Crete is out of the question. Their navy wasn't nearly strong enough to enforce claims to Crete.
Maybe something equating to a "Saratoga" moment where the Great Powers are more willing to join because Greece has a chance to survive?
Maybe with more prestige from a better war they try to be more forceful in enforcing the Megeli Idea? They may or may not regain Constantinople but maybe they gain a bit more...?
Or maybe it's just complete BS and I have no idea what I'm taking about... I think that's more likely!
