A more Sinicized Thailand (Daiyue)

How can a more Sinicized Thailand be achieved. Do the Tai people need to impose their Chinese language and way of life towards the ruling Khmers. Or, would the Han Chinese be better at imposing those things? If there was a mass migration of Han Chinese to Thailand in place of the Tai (the Tai would still come with the Han Chinese), would the culture change? Would they impose their culture as well or would they assimilate? Would a Chinese Thailand conquer all of Indochina? How would this influence relations between Southeast Asia especially with Vietnam and Cambodia?

The Tai peoples were indeed came from southern China, or more specifically Yunnan-Guizhou-Guangxi area, but they're more exposed to the Indianzed civilization of Khmer Empire.

In order to achieve your goal, maybe let the Tai people more or less exposed to Chinese civilization; they would still speak Tai, but they'd probably practiced Mahayana Buddhism and write in Siddham script, if it's possible.

Can a mass migration of Han Chinese to Thailand also work and it would happen during the Mongol invasions. Would they impose Chinese culture as well?

What I knew from Mr. Compton's description of Thailand is that the Thai Chinese, who are Teochew, have Thai names, speaking Thai language and revere the Thai monarch. In fact, the monarch before the current Chakris (Taksin) was a Teochew

In this case, it would be the same if the Han Chinese migrate to ATL Thailand during the Mongol invasions, but they would be more or less assimilated to the general Thai society because they shared the same sect of Buddhism.
