A more "effective" Frederick William III of Prussia

As you know , he wasn't really the man of the situation during the napoleonic era. Without his surrounding (Blücher , Vom Stein , Hardenberg , Scharnhorst) , he would probably be screwed to the core and ending with a micro state. But what if he was a great king ? You know like reforming the army , dealing in a smart way with Nappy and keeping the polish territory his pig father got.

I think his first main error was, that he waited to long to join the Third Coalition in 1805. Three allied armies at Austerlitz may be to much even for Napoleon.
 
Yes you got one point. But i was guessing what if he was far more able since his coronation at 1797. What if it was from the beginning different in personality.
