It's 1980, and things are slightly stranger. Find the changes in all continents! Not Oceania. Or Antarctica.

Here is my attempt at an uncanny map. Let's see if anyone can find everything wrong with it.

There is a dispute between Yunnan and Myanmar that was actually resolved in the 1960s, except only the southernmost disputed territory is shown.

There is a small new province-level division in Pukou, Jiangsu (this may be an artefact of the base map)

Nantong, Jiangsu, is part of Shanghai

Panama Canal Zone

Seminole autonomous region

That's all correct. New York City is now part of New Jersey. There's nothing special about Kosovo, and Macedonia is one of those federal states. And south India is actually part of Sri Lanka now. There are many more changes still.

Made it in like an hour. The Idea came from the /r/imaginarymaps discord. We were digging a guys deleted reddit account and there was a badly made map showing a """Better Europe""". And, so I decided to remake the middle east part while parodying the style of whatifalthist thumbnails for further comedy.

Not necessarily. A federation would actually work on that level unlike Russia where one culture dominates, you can have Belgium/Lebanon like political system
