This thought arrived to me when I was thinking both about FWR from EdT's "Fight and Be Right" TL and the lack of British Egypt in Pasha's Ottoman TL. So, I stumbled across an "Commie British Empire without Egypt" idea.
The main problem is simple ("*" ?

) : the possible form and territories of this entity, and more importantly, how possible can this be. Especially regarding on the relation to Dominions factor. In FaBR, all the Dominions of the British Empire went their own way after the Revolution in Britain, in additions to also the colonies adjacent to the said dominion did the same. But in that TL British Empire held Egypt, and still does after the revolution. Without Egypt in hand, South Africa will be pretty much the only viable link to India, geopolitically speaking. Surely that it will have more attention from London, as in Pasha's TL. Combine that with Randolph's Mega Administration Structure and maybe even a good shift approaching Imperial Federation, and maybe most if not all of British Empire can be one superstate (because I think I absolutely need South Africa [at very least the Cape and/or Natal] to be in this Communist entity), before it reaches a turning point and collapse into Syndicallism. Though keep in mind that I'm certainly no expert in 19 century British politics

And that's why I set this thread up. I may have made some glaring mistakes in my statements above and I'm personally sure about it. (especially since Russo-Ottoman War of 1877-78 would be slightly predate Randolph's rise to fame, so I'm rather afraid that his career would be butterflied away with Ottoman victory somehow, since I know nothing about relations between Russo-Ottoman War and the contemporary British internal political situation).
So here's the mission statement map below. I'm still not sure whether the *FWR can posses Indian footholds without Egypt, and I'm especially not even sure that South Africa can be retained after the Revolution. Ignore everything else on the map.
Shoot it down, Pedantic-Hame-Ha, death threats, everything you got !
