A League of Nations Wank

I'm talking a break from my other timeline and I'm going to do something a bit more fanciful: The League of Nations becomes the world government by the end of the 20th century.

POD being world war 1.

The Brusilov Offensive breaks all the through to the Hungarian plain, though at tremendous cost to Russia. Austria-Hungary collapses in 1917. Serbia, Romania and Greece start pushing south and the pressure allows the MEF to secure Gallipoli and steam up to Constantinople, knocking the Ottomans out of the war soon after.

The February Revolution still happens in Russia but not Red October. The Czar abdicates and a Republican government takes over.

The French and British advance up to the Rhine and the Italians advance as far north as Munich. Germany capitulates in 1918. Russia gives up all of Poland west of the Curzon Line and the Entente recognizes a smaller than OTL Poland as an independent state.

With Entente troops in Germany's heartland, the stabbed in the back myth is never born. The Weimar Republic is created with it's OTL borders.

Russia has what it feels is it's natural borders, a liberal democracy and the Soviets have been butterflied. Russia will be fully onboard with the League going forward.

I'm not entirely sure if Russia would see any purpose in taking Memel, I feel they would either take all of east Prussia or none of it and why is Russia okay with an independent Poland? Why give up that land?

I am pretty unsure that Entente can invade Germany and I am pretty sure that Italy can't reach Munich, barely even Bavaria.

Munich is at the very bottom tip of Bavaria though. If they take the Province of Tyrol, the closest supply point would be Brixen which 240 km from Munich. Sounds like a lot, until you realize that Verona, where most of the supplies would be routed from, is 209 km away.

I agree that Russia giving up Poland seems preposterous though.
