A greater Anti-Comintern Pact

What if more nations signed this pact before 1939? My special interest is to see Argentina and Spain sign this before 1938. How likely is this? What effect might this have on ww2. Could something like this bring actual fighting to south america in ww2?

Well Spain, or at least the Nationalist government, was already fighting Communists even before Germany and Japan first signed the pact in November 1936. If it had signed it earlier it would have been only a formality for them; i doubt anything would have changed.

Nope. No Argentinean government of that time would sign such a pact without the agreement of the British government.
Argentina was too tied to the UK in that time and although puppet state is a bit too much, it should be remembered that the Argentinean VP in the 1932-1938 period had remarked that "from an economical viewpoint, Argentina is a part of the British Empire" as a good thing.
