A Greater American Revolution

Halifax NS was one of the first towns to declare independence in 1775.
A early Campaign North, before the British retreated from NY to Nova Scotia.

In 1775 the Bermudains were very supportive of the Rebels, and only the presence of the Naval Garrison prevented them from joining the CC, in July 1776.

In 1777 the Americans occupied the Bahamas, and held them for the next several years.
In 1781 the Spainish Chsed the Americans out, claiming that they [Spainish] were acting to supress piratecy
The British them moved to chase the Spainish out. To prevent this from becoming another war, they gave Florida back to Spain.

Keep the Spainish out of the Bahamas, Britian gives up the Bahamas, and Nova Scotia as they are occupied by the Rebels. Florida, has no meaning, and is just abandoned by england in the Treaty. As the Rebels control the entire coast from NS to Fla. Bermuda is also let go.

Not Quite the All of Canada & the West Indies, but More of a do-able ATL.

Effects,
The Loyalists move north into the remaining British held Areas, They give Quebec a larger english speaking minority, Earlier.
Having to pass by the US position in NS to get to the interior of British Canada, leads to the English pushing development in Newfoundland and Labador Faster.

The Northwest Ordinince [OTL Ohio, and Trans Applalacians] also includes the territories of East & west Florida, as well as the Brunswick/Maine territories.

Procession of the two Island Groups increases the US need for a Navy Slightly.

With less involvement in the Ohio/Great Lakes, Britian doesn't support the Indians there as Much, No Jay Treaty Scandal, to sour the new relation with England.

The American [pre 1775] Settlers in Florida are not kicked out by the Spainish, so Settlements & Development, continues along the Georgia Border southward.

This attracts more Development to the South, and west along the Gulf Coast.

The naval cold War with France in the late 1790's goes hot, and the US takes Lousisia by force.

Following this the US sends a delagation to Madrid, [OTL 1806] This ATL delagation includes a Floridian, [Ex Spainish] They settle the Border with Mexico [OTL- Trans Continetal Treaty]. Due to the presence of the Floridian, ITTL the King Signs the Treaty, and the US gains everything north of the Red River, and the California Border.

The US now strecthes Coast to Coast, and has a solid Claim on the entire Oregon Territory

It would be great if the Northeastern border was on the St. Lawrence...

In this situation, I think that it's likely that the US would have taken the rest of Canada. They already control the only entrance, after all.

I suppose the real question becomes what to do with Quebec? A cynical strategy would be to entice Loyalists to move there and then letting them and the Quebecois fight it out. Two birds, one stone.

Or, the U.S. makes a deal with the Quebecois, and the border is set at the St. Lawrence and Ottawa rivers...

They still probably try to get the Loyalists to move there; it's just too good of an opportunity to pass up. Granted, there are probably fewer of them in this TL, as the war was shorter (or non-existent), but there would still be a few.

True. Then again, depending on the status of Florida...

I think you have it the wrong way round. In OTL it was the British who were willing to offer freedom to slaves who escaped from their Rebel owners.
You didn't read my post. It was Washington, not Arnold, who did not want blacks in his army. Arnold was northern in outlook. Put Arnold in charge of the Continental army and it will promptly enroll blacks instead of dilly dallying around till necessity and desperation forced their hands.
