Anybody wanna take this one? The music is beautiful, but I'm not so sure about the plot.

Peoples' knowledge of history is too influenced by the Civilization games.
At least he has a better grasp on history than some of the commenters:
"i hate to say it but ive noticed i minor flaw in this video. the aztecs couldnt get to the moon because the industrial revolution wouldnt have happened; queen victoria probably wouldnt have even been heard of. i do love the video though. very good view on things"

A timeline in which the absence of Ben Franklin means no (as of the time the TL is written) space program would be kind of cool, though.
Exploration of butterflies and all that.
Still, to believe that one needs the Soviet Union in order for space travel to ever happen is hilarious.
More so than the idea that one needs Germany or the US?
I don't see a problem here. Without Benjamin Franklin, we would've never discovered electricity. Without electricity, the Germans would never have revolutionized rocket technology. Without rocket technology, the Soviet Union would never have been able to launch Sputnik, and later Yuri Gagarin, into space. This was a joke
