A Few Questions About A Nazi Dominated Europe

I have been looking around these forums, and I've seen lots of contradicting information on Europe and the world after the Nazis win. For instance, I've heard the Nazis wanted to destroy Britain's empire, but they admired it. So here are some questions;

1) What would they do to Britain and France? Presuming they don't invade Britain, but instead starve her.

2) What would happen to Russia? They can't annex all of it!

3) How would they deal with the threat of the US?

4) How would culture look, after, for example, sixty years?

5) What would happen to Switzerland? An obscure question, but it always seems to just sit there.

6) Ooh, and another, difficult to answer one: with Nazi Germany and Japan (presumably) the new superpowers, what would happen to China, and any modern booming economies?
Thank you, hope I haven't asked any too daft questions.

1) The UK is left alone, its empire divided in a way thats satysfying to the Axis Powers - Japan would get everything up to Persia (due to the "Asia for Asians" policy), Italy gets Egypt (possibly with the Suez Canal) and Soudan all the way to Abyssynia, including Djiboutti. Germany technically didn't have claims, though they might take back their pre-ww I colonies (Hitler wasn't interested in that, but some Nazis were).

France is occupied ad infinitum, with Vichy regime in charge, serving as a Lebensborn brothel and granary of sorts.

Essentialy what Hitler promised in 1941 - After the defeat of the westen powers, their empires will be a "bankruptcy mass" to be divided by the winners.

2) They annex everything up to the 60th meridian, the remains are for Japan (as promised by the Tripartiate Pact alliance) and Generalplan Ost is implemented.

3) They enter a Cold War with it and go to war against it in a few decades time (as said in Hitler's Second Book)

4) Impossible to say

5) Probably forced to accept German hegemony in Europe including racist legislation, but might keep a large degree of self-rule seeing that they are Germanics and I don't know of a Nazi who sought to annex it.

6) China becomes part of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere along with Indochina, India, Indonesia, etc. Since there would hardly be any independent countries on the world island left, the USA becomes the greatest superpower in the world thanks to its free-market economy and influx of skilled emigrants from Europe and Asia.

5) Switzerland. There was a plan to divide it along ethnic lines with parts going to Italy and France and the ethnically German areas being absorbed directly into the Reich. Switzerland sported a small Nazi party. The German army planning for an invasion was Operation Tannenbaum.

1) Hitler in all probability leaves the British Empire intact but IIRC he was bent on reducing France to a shadowy German puppet state and overshadowing French culture with Nazi Deutsch Kultur.

2) With regard to Russia and almost all Slavic societies the answer's actually really simple: kill off 90% of them and enslave the other 10%. In practice this creates a massive perpetual sinkhole as the Germans finally realize that their supposed "promised land" is vastly arid and mostly entirely unsuited for agriculture, while nobody wants to go there for precisely this reason. Much of the USSR by virtue of geography is entirely unsuited for agriculture of any sort, so Hitler's twisted and warped concept of colonization falters because Nazi clapping their hands and believing really really hard can't alter geography, but one can't unring the bell of killing off almost all the inhabitants not-German of Eastern Europe.

3) Nuclear war a generation down the line. With the USA having them and the Nazi state not having them.

4) It depends on how many survivors of World War III are still alive in Europe.

5) Germany invades and partitions it.

6) None of them rise, though it's as difficult to see a prolonged GEACPS as it is a Nazi empire that lasts for any prolonged amount of time.

There's a pretty big gap between what the Nazis wanted to do and what they were capable of doing.

Here's CalBear's magnum opus, "The Anglo-American Nazi War," which depicts the Nazis defeating the Soviets and then being squashed a decade later by the Anglo-Americans.

We can quibble about whether Stalin really would have flipped that badly out had Stalingrad fallen, but this horror show is based on what the Nazis intended for the East.

Here's one part of what the Nazis wanted to do in the former USSR:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generalplan_Ost

Basically a whole lot of forcible Germanization (for the lucky ones), expulsion (for the less lucky ones), and genocide (for a whole lot of them). My high school history book said the Nazis believed 30 million Slavs would need to die, while someone here said the more realistic figure is 50 million.

What would they have done to Ireland? We would have had any amount of collaborators to assist them! They would not care about nicities when dealing with our guerilla warfare fighters and would have made the excesses of British colonialism eg the Black and Tans etc seem like a laugh a minute in comparisson! They might even plant a few ethnic Germans here to use our farmland!

A lot depends on how the win, and who is leader after Hitler.

2) The plan for the east was closest to slavery in the New World. Replace whites with Germans and black slaves with Slavs. Now there were too many Slavs since urban Slavs are not needed. Probably 50-70% of Slavs would be killed, expelled or flee. The Slavs would be uneducated. They would be taught the German alphabet, how to sign their name, and how to count to 100. This level of education is well below what is required to run a modern farm with tractors, pesticides, and the like. So if implemented "successfully", the productivity would be terribly low. IMO, it would be attempted and it would collapse due to the inefficiency, rebellion of Slavs, and simply the Slavs fleeing to other parts of the world. There were not enough Germans to settle Poland, much less the vast emptiness of the east. Best Guess is if the Nazi won, most of Russia would revert to its wild state, and look a lot like the Chernobyl Zone. After Hitler died, the most fertile land would be farmed by Germans using tractors and the most valuable mines would be mined. The rest would be a vast wildlands approaching wilderness.

3) USA threat. Probably use the ocean to protect them. Germany accepts the Monroe doctrine, and the USA accepts the loss of Europe to the Nazis. There will be enough internal issue to keep the Nazi occupied full time. Simple things like the Germans will not really want to be small plantation owners each owning 10 Slavic families, and a constant struggle for these Germans to move to the much richer cities. Fights to replace Slavs with tractors. Fights within the Nazi party. etc. Once nukes are developed by both sides, MAD is how both sides will deal with each other.

4) Culture. Hitler was a sick man by 1945, so a lot depends on who runs the country after him. It is obviously a lot more German, but I can't provide any details that far out. Just look at what happened to the USSR or PRC over 60 years. Think about the predictions of PRC culture made in 1950 compared to how it really is today.
