Wouldn't creating a narrow corridor to Szekely

That would look bad, do anybody want' to have country divided in two parts connected by 250 kilometers long and 10 kilometers wide corridor?

And other solution would be just asking for new problems.

I think the Hungarians would prefare that to OTL. That it would "look bad" is a silly argument in my opinion. Should borders be decided on the basis how they look on a map?

Agreed, though it might also work. It's not exactly Upper Karabakh. West Berlin did work, didn't it?

Yes, West berlin worked and allmost caused WW3 few times...

OFC that it's better than OTL solution.

Would an independent Transylvania have been a feasible option to the Allies, particularly to Wilson?

I appreciate such a state would have been very likely to implode at some point given the ethnic hotch-potch.

Two countries exchanging population may sound shocking to our 21st century standards but in retrospect, wherever it was done, it may have saved a lot of lives during the boiling 20th century. I rule out the disastrous Indian-Pakistani population exchange, of course.

In what regards of what looks good on a map, well... whenever the borders are perceived as unnatural in an obvious kind of way, that's always basis for irredentism. But I think that's a minor problem in the long run.
