A differnet collapse of Rome? How would China be affected?

Well, I'm doing a timeline (in my signature) in which, Rome splits earlier and in a different way, and subsequently is invaded differently. Now, about 100 years in I'm starting to get into greater interactions with China, as butterflies have already hit India, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Of note, Eastern Rome is split in two, and theres a large Greco-Egyptian Empire. Any ideas how this will affect things?

I don't have an answer but I like your question, being in a somewhat similar Position. So far, I've neglected China. But that can't happen much longer, since my TL Features an economically more robust Mediterranean, meaning more trade potential. If nothing else.
