Have you cared to read the TL resume with any attention ? Napoleon *lost* in the end, just like Austria. His return turns the war into a three-sided conflict, and Prussia and Russia win it and get to write a victor's peace. Murat could easily change allegiances in the end, his closeness to the Austrians was purely opportunistic and motivated by trying to keep his throne, when the five powers come to blows, he may make another alliance of convenience with Prussia and Russia if it seems like they give better guarantees.

My supposition is that your tL is impossible as it ignores the reality of what is likely to occur in favour of something which put bluntly is a flight of impossible fancy...it ignores the reality of those times...but i digress as it is impossible for you to learn anything from having the obvious pointed out to you...

You are entitled to your opinion, which comes as no surprise, given past discussions. I'm entitled to have a different one and to suppose that such a brusque and cavalier judgement, which no other commentor has so far expressed, is an a priori arbitrary assumption, and probably springs from the fact that my TL anti-wanks some of your preferred wank subjects. I only wonder whether it's Britain/Canada (more likely, judging from the nickname), France, Austria, or a mix.

Any way, this discussion in all likelihood can bring no constructive end, so let's terminate it here.
