A Different Neuburg Bunch?

According to Philip William, Elector Palatine's German wiki article, before he married Princess Anna Katarzyna Konstancja of Poland-Lithuania, a possibility was booted around of him marrying Luise Charlotte of Brandenburg, OTL Duchess of Courland.

Interestingly enough, another husband proposed (as early as 1637) for said Polish princess, was Archduke Ferdinand of Tyrol (who married Anna de Medici, OTL). Anna Katarzyna Vasa's childbearing was reportedly ruined by the difficult birth of her stillborn son in July 1645. And if she bears Ferdinand a son, suddenly a the Hapsburgs have a claim to the PLC, meaning a possible non-Imperial Hapsburg Poland (IDK, I'm just putting the idea out there).

Now, what if both alternate marriages had come off, leaving the duke of Courland to find another wife.

Well, if we have Jacob Kettler marry the remaining Brandenburg girl, Hedwig Sophia, then we can have an epic case of nature vs. nurture.
In OTL none of Jacob's children inherited their formidable father's intellect. Hedwig Sophia's OTL Hesse-Kassel brood was rather smart one. So from genetic point of view the POD is interesting.
And Tyrol Habsburgs as the most legitimate heirs to Poland is pretty interesting thing.

Another bride offered for Neuburg was Anna de Medici, OTL archduchess consort of Tyrol, however her dad wanted Philipp Wilhelm's father to abdicate so she could marry a sovereign rather than a sovereign's son - needless to say that sorta scuttled thr whole thing (crazy Medici:D)

A question is about Brandenburg's half of the Julich-Cleves-Berg inheritance. They offered Luise to Philipp with the duchy of Cleves as a dowry. Would Brandenburg have kept that promise or no. And did the elector even have the right to barter away portions of his country?
