A different Marburg Colloquy

In 1529, after the Diet of Worms and Speyer a meeting was organized between the main protestant leaders of the time, Huldrych Zwingli and Martin Luther. The goal of the Marburg Colloquy was to form a rapport between the two leaders and strengthen a sense of religious unity among protestants for the coming fights with the Catholic Church. However, despite agreeing on fourteen of the fifteen points that needed reform the two could not agree on the last and left the meeting with an intense dislike of the other.

My question is this, is there anyway the two could have ignored that last point and made an agreement? What would be the results? A united Protestant Church? How would it affect the coming religious wars? How would it affect the other reformists like the anabaptists or calvinists?
