The space bats are clearly Beatles fans and have graced the world with a never before heard, never released, never ever recorded song that is clearly the work of a group who disbanded over forty years ago.

Given the passing of two former members of The Beatles, the still-living members, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, express astonishment that the cosmic furry flying creatures have created a song that recaptures The Beatles sound in their hey-day and most surprisingly of all, brings John Lennon back from the dead (metaphysically of course) for one last take at the microphone.

'A Day In The Life', a Beatles song that emerged from the ether of an alternate dimension, instantly charts at number one in most nations and is hailed as a last hurrah for the Fab Four, even if was a space bat or two that actually brought it to our attention.

What other songs would be perfect to be plucked from the ether and handed to the world many, many years after the musician/s have retired or passed?

I'm thinking... Knockin' On Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan, given a release via ASB Records in 1999 and Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, released in amongst the dirge of nonsense that clutters the modern charts.
