"A Cub-a Tea" - A British Cuba TL

A few notes before I start this timeline: Essentially I write the TL in a very textbooky stile, similiar to that of regular school books for history. The timeline starts with "Glorious History IV", which covers the years from 1756 to 1908. It should also be noted that the book was originally written in Spanish and that it may be a bit biased (that's intentional ;)). As a last note, the timeline starts at the second chapter, which starts with the after years of the Seven Year's War and contains only a small text bit with a few "original sources", like extracts of the peace treaties, images and maps, to come within this week. Anyway, enjoy!

Chapter 2: The Aftermath of the First Great War

The disastrous consequences of the First Great War were apparent: It was responsible for at least 1,000,000 deaths and an unknown number of casualties, as well as invaluable damages on cultural possesions.
But this catastrophy showed the future of Europe, establishing the new Great Powers:
The Treaty of Saint Petersburg (1762) gave Prussia a change to change its priorities, allowing for a successful campaign against the Habsburgs and showcasing the future dominance of Prussia over Europe after the Treaty of Hubertusburg, which restored the European borders quo ante bellum.
Through the Treaty of Paris Great Britain established its colonial dominance. Most French possesions in America were ceded to the British and several borders were adjusted to their favour. Canada, Western Louisiana and Cuba were annexed, the borders of Florida were redrawn, which included a transfer of the area around the city of Mobile to Spain.
As a result from the Indian theatre the British annexed Bengal, thus ending French dominance over the region with only minor settlements remaining.

Sorry, that was the old version. Yesterday I compared the borders of Louisiana and then changed the text. The new version can be found in the opening post. Also, bump.

I will do a map, but currently I feel a bit dizzy so I am not sure if I would be able to draw the borders correctly, unless I work with the classic "diamonda" map, which is rather inpractical since I want a "real" history book. Furthermore, I am a bit disorganized. This is primarily because it is very hard to define the borders of L., since I need a small part of it to remain Spanish, with the majority going to GB. I better show you what I intended on a diamond map. Just wait a minute.

Also, I will restart the thread to clean up this disaster and to make a better introduction. Really, my head is spinning currently.
