I've seen a number of different combinations of people surviving/dying in the smallpox outbreak of 1660 right after Charles II returned to the English throne, but not These two.

Suppose James, having found a wife and married earlier, and his new wife are in London and perish, but that Mary, daughter of Charles I, survives. She is still young enough to remarry and possibly bear children; whom would she remarry? Or, would she? As she sole survivor after Charles II, she would have a son, William, would be heir, but there might be some desire to make sure more heirs are produced; though I guess it would be a bit too late.

Let's also add in Elizabeth for fun; she lived 1635-1650 OTL, and was considered a possible bride for William of Orange as well. (I guess Charles I thought it beneath her becasue he was only stadtholder? (sp?)) is there a way we can have her survive, maybe by being sent away with Mary at the same time? Who would she marry? If she marries an Orange (had to write it that way, it just sounds so silly:D) who does Mary marry?
