Found a beautiful Europe map in Wiki;-

A polite request if allowed. I'm trying to develop maps for my ongoing Why the Chinese play cricket TL. I used to be a graphic artist (sadly a degenerative neurological condition has greatly reduced my hand eye coordination and it's now a bit of a struggle). I've found a lot of good blank maps I can use in this forum (many thanks to everyone who has invested in contributing these). However they almost exclusively seem to be bitmaps.

I work mainly with a vector graphic program as said neurological condition can make working with bitmaps tricky for me (Inkscape to be exact, it's similar to Illustrator which I used when I was a graphic artist and I find its feature set larger than sk1). So if anyone knows a good source for vector graphic map files, I'd very much appreciate it. SVG is my preferred format.

Here are a few sources I've found online:
https://www.amcharts.com/svg-maps/ - seem to be quite detailed - uses Mercator projection - available under CC BY-NC 4.0 licence;
https://mapsvg.com/maps - also quite detailed - also uses Mercator - I couldn't find information about licensing/attribution but the downloads are free;
https://simplemaps.com/resources/svg-maps - low detail unless you purchase - uses Robinson projection - free for use under licence stated on the site.

Hope that's of some use.

There is another site which has other projections available (https://vemaps.com) but the licence states 'No Derivatives — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you CANNOT distribute the modified material' so you wouldn't be able to use them here.

Thank you very much. These look extremely useful. Mapssvg.com seems to use the CC BY-NC 4.0 licence as well. It showed up when I went to download.

Hi I would like to request a blank map of North Eastern Africa. (Or you can just find me one that fits the descriptions below)
Make the country/colony borders be 1914; 1 Pixel wide for Coast and Borders

Also for god's sake please make your maps PNG, not JPEG as it will compress the image and make it look bad while PNG keeps the image at original quality
