how do people make the BAMs, is there a website or is a it a program. if its a website can i have the URL, if its a program could i have a map of Europe with rivers (in detail) and sub national boundaries. ta

I caution you that it takes a lot of work to do a really good BAM. If you look on the first few pages of this thread I have posted (along with a few others) maps that might suit what you are looking for.

I went ahead and fixed the physical-political map of Asia, by removing a spurious border in Uzbekistan, because it made Uzbekistan look like it was partitioned into two countries. Here's the fixed map.
