A bit of comic relief Famous People in Alternate Realities where they are Failures

Henrik Ibsen: Author of plays too depressing to read. Committed suicide after the failure of "A Doll's House"

Rob Malda: A taco stand owner known as "Commander Taco"

William Burroughs: A leader in the anti-opium movement.

Rob O' Reilly: A classicist at Princeton.

Pier Gerlofs Donia: A giant pirate executed by the Spanish in 1517 after his daring raid on the Ijsselmeer fleet failed.

What a terrible world this would be. Could make for an interesting TL though...

A TL where Richard Dawkins is ISOTed to the past just before Charles Darwin was born. He becomes the first to put forward Darwin's theory albeit more rigourously and forcefully. Social Darwinism is a rampant force in this world, and Atheism in first world nations approach 50%.

Bill Clinton: Fails in his attempts to dodge the draft and gets sent to Vietnam where he miraculously survives, but has trouble finding any shred of work upon returning home, never becomes Governor of Arkansas, and is left going in and out of cheap night clubs playing his saxophone for a living.

Ronald Reagan: Stays an actor, work becoming more and more slim as he gets older and older in a harsh Hollywood world. Eventually becomes stuck doing Sci-Fi Originals fare till his unfortunate passing.

Michael Moore: Stays at his magazine job at "Mother Jones", never rising to the idea of filming documentaries. Remains in Michigan... with his parents.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt: Fails in his attempts to mask his unfortunate paralysis from the public eye, loses in his run for government office due to voter misgivings over his condition. Never able to rise above such a public image, and never gains much in the way of political office.

Adolf Hitler: After gaining acceptance ot the Art School, Hitler fakes a mental disturbance and gets commited in a asylum.
