An idea of PLC wank I run across.
The PoD is OTL Sigismund III dying in childhood, leaving this lady:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Vasa_of_Sweden
As the only heiress of her mother - Catherina Jagellon. The father of Princess Anna still gets to be a King in Sweden, and his son from second marriage will be his heir.
Meanwhile, in PLC Stephtn Batory is the successful King but sadly childless. So he decides to nominate his nephew -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigismund_Báthory
As a King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, marrying him to Princess Anna of Sweden to legitimize his claims.
The PLC thus avoids the "Northern" vector and with Batory dynasty they'll naturally look south, towards Moldavia and Yedisan. And maybe enter in conflict with Habsburgs due to the Hungarian ambitions of the Batory family.
--------
This is an idea (along with "son of Wladyslaw IV survives") of the PLC prosperity TL I had for some time. In fact, that's the solo (sorta) project I want to undertake when Apollinis et Dianae will get sidelined for a while (I likely won't be a co-writer of Constantine's Jakobite TL, sometimes a contributor at best) but I think that I'd welcome some contribution for this - from denizens of the other half of PLC likely.
So, is anybody interested?
