9/11: In Iran

I'm sorry about copycatting but all the earlier posts got me thinking.

Al Quaida and their affiliates haven't avoided killing Shia muslims, even attacking their holy sites. So what if the 9/11 gang make a similar attack on Iran? Would they still train in the US? Would they try frame the US?

I suppose more pro-western types would come to power in Iran. If something like 9/11 still happens in the US, we could see Iranian troops as part of the coalition in Afghanistan (and the Iranian army is big).

I could also see the Iranians helping out in Iraq in stead of helping the terrorists (If they are doing that now which I'm not sure of). Maybe they would want to cavre off technically independent Shia and Kurd states although I'm not sure if the US and to a lesser extent Turkey would stand for that as these would end up as Iranian puppets.

I ask WI the same group highjack 4 planes (or perhaps less planes due to practical reasons) and fly them into some appropriate Iranian buildings. Hence no attack in the US and no direct US involvment in Afganistan.
